Dinner Time

I was watching TV this afternoon when I saw something strange on the window.  I had to go outside to see what it was and it turns out to be a spider with its dinner.  I am not sure how the Spider got the dinner since there was not a web built but I am not sure if this species of spider builds a web.

 

Tree hanging in there

On my walk this morning I noticed this big tree hanging on by it’s roots.  I was walking on the west road from Four Corners and looking toward New Valley for those of you who have been here and know your way around.

You have to excuse the blurred image since I had to zoom in a lot and my hands are not as steady as they were in my younger days.  I do not know what the green thing is in the photo.  My guess is that it is trash that washed up during a flood.

Cactus

It is another cool morning with the temperature in the mid 50s so it was a nice walk.  I almost came back inside and changed clothes to put on something warmer but I decided that I would warm up by walking.

I walked past the cactus that I have been watching and I am beginning to think that the blooms don’t come out in cool weather.  Maybe they only bloom when the temperature is warm and the sun is up.  At any rate, this is the latest photos.
