San Antonio River Walk Across
We are not sure if the river is low due to the lack of rain or maybe it is the work they are doing up stream as part of the San Antonio River project but the water is low and you can walk across the river now.
The San Antonio River is only flowing through two small channels in the gravel bar. The San Antonio actually flows up the Salado Creek a short distance before continuing its normal course.
There is a big Cottonwood tree that fell across the Salado Creek. It is large enough that brave people could walk across it.
This is the view from Scenic Overlook.
