Texas Folklife Festival

Margaret and I went to the Texas Folklife Festival this past weekend.  It was fun but the food wasn’t as good or varied as at the NIOSA during Festa but it wasn’t as crowded either.  I guess you have to take the good with the bad.  We had a nice time but decided we won’t go back every year.

They had an old town set up and they put on shows but we didn’t get to catch the show.

There were quite a few wood carving displays.

Of course, there were displays of branding irons, western wear and old farm tools.
