Bumblebees

I do believe that most of the Hummingbirds have gone south for the winter.  I have only seen one the past two days.  Of course I will keep my feeders up and filled with fresh water for a few more days for the stragglers but it is sure not like the days when I have to fill up feeders twice a day.  Yesterday I noticed that Bumblebees had taken over one of the feeders.

I guess they might have been after the pollen left on the feeders from the beaks of the Hummingbirds.  I guess they got most of it since there was only one on there this morning.  I hope they don't decide to build a hive out there.
