Thanksgiving 2012

We picked up four Airmen that are going through basic training at Lackland AFB and brought them out to the house for dinner with us.  It is part of what they call Operation Home Cooking and we do it every year in San Antonio.  This year over 4,000 families living near San Antonio will share their home with Airmen and Women at Lackland.

We give them cell phones and computers and they call family and friends.  This year, one of them got on Skypes and chatted with his girlfriend and proposed to her.  She accepted.  A good day was had by all.
