B-24

Stinson field had a B-24 flowed in for the weekend and the public was allowed to take a self guided tour of the aircrafts.  I was amazed at how cramped it was inside the aircraft.  I don’t know how they moved around wearing parachutes and Mae West.

There was a veteran there in his WWII uniform.  He had flown in the B-24 during the later days of the war in Italy.  He had quite a few stories to tell.  There were quite a few of other veterans there taking the tour.  Many of them there with their Grandsons.
