Little Birds and Little Puppies

I am not sure what is going on with the little birds.  The last two times I have looked in the nest, one of the parents is sitting on them.  I always thought that little chicks were hungry and the parents spent all of their time looking for food and feeding the chicks.  Maybe I was wrong, I am certainly not a bird expert.  I just hope everything is okay.

 

The puppies are doing good.  Hopefully we have found homes for two more of them tonight.  That will leave one to find a home.
